This summer saw our team deliver a high performing solar and storage installation for a client in Epsom, Surrey.

This installation combined 18 Enphase Micro-inverters fixed to a Vandervalk flat roof system and wired in situ with 10kWh of Sigenergys modular battery and gateway – providing reliable generation, scalable storage, and backup capability in the event of a power cut.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The client sought a system that would complement his new build project and maximise generation while ensuring resilience against grid failures. Following a detailed on-site survey, our engineers designed and installed:
  • 18 Enphase Micro-inverters – allowing each solar panel to operate independently, with panel-level monitoring and superior efficiency.
  • Vandervalk Setup – Weight mounted flat roof system designed to rest on top flat roofs without any means of penetration through the felt.
  • Sigenergy Stackable Battery – modular storage, enabling excess solar energy to be stored for use in the evening or peak periods.
